Stefan Weglowski was born in 1985 and is a Polish composer, producer, live performer.
He studied composition under Szábolcs Esztényi, Dobromiła Jaskot, Michał Dobrzyński and Bettina Skrzypczak.
His works include mostly compositions for small ensembles and solo instruments. In his works he uses minimalist and spectral techniques, combining them with broadly defined area of electronic music (field recording, sampling, max msp programming). Composer of theater music, i.a. Dybuk directed by Maja Kleczewska, Warsaw Jewish Theater, 2015 and film music i.a. „Cutaways”, by Agnieszka Kurant, which premiered at the Performa13 Festival in New York and later was displayed at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. He teaches at the Faculty of Media Artat the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Węgłowski works and lives in Warsaw.
