Working with a fractal model, as something of an allegory of the way waves move, is based on the concept of a cycle as a “natural entity”. The combination of the idea of self-similarity (fractal) with that of spreading-out (wave) reflects the search for a sound which develops organically, as if it were just another part of nature. (Alberto Posadas) Liturgia fractal ist ein Zyklus aus fünf Streichquartetten, in dem für jedes Quartett ein anderes Fraktalmodell verwendet wird. Die Arbeit mit einem Fraktalmodell, quasi als Allegorie der Wellenbewegung, basiert auf dem Konzept eines Zyklus als „natürliche Entität“. Die Kombination der Idee der Selbstähnlichkeit (Fraktal) mit jener der Ausbreitung (Welle) reflektiert die Suche nach einem sich organisch wie ein weiterer Teil der Natur entwickelnden Klang.
