Since composing his initial musical works during the 1980s, his development has led from atonality to spectralism and, from there, on to experimentation with various temporal granulations. This CD brings together three symphonic works with solo instruments that exemplify this development. Written in the period between 1995 and 2005, they represent three distinctly different contributions to the contemporary orchestral repertoire. (Horacio Vaggione) José Manuel López López hat als Komponist langjährige Erfahrung und zeichnet sich durch eine ausgereifte Schreibweise und deren konsequente Anpassung an das intendierte Klangresultat aus. Seit seinen ersten musikalischen Werken in den 1980er Jahren führte ihn sein Weg von der Atonalität zum Spektralismus und von dort zum Experimentieren mit verschiedenen temporalen Körnungen. Diese CD vereint drei für diesen Weg exemplarische sinfonische Werke mit Soloinstrumenten.
