Bernhard Wambach Born 1948, he studied in Bremen and Hamburg. He attended courses with Friedrich Gulda from 1973 to 1977 and participated in the International Summer Courses for New Music in Darmstadt from 1978 to 1982. Laureate of the International Arnold Schönberg Competition in Rotterdam (1979) and of the Kranichsteiner Music Award (1982). He has travelled the world, concerting in Europe as well as in Israel, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, and India. He worked together with composers such as Stockhausen, Boulez, Nono, Xenakis, Kagel, Rihm, Lachenmann, Hosokawa, Kalitzke, Huber, Stäbler, and many more. Piano courses at the International Summer Courses for New Music in Darmstadt, the Centre Acanthes Avignon, the Akiyoshidai Music Festival in Japan, in Korea, Italy, China and Taiwan. Zusammenarbeit mit Komponisten wie Stockhausen, Boulez, Nono, Xenakis, Kagel, Rihm, Lachenmann, Hosokawa, Kalitzke, Huber, Stäbler u.v.a. Klavierkurse bei den Int. Seit 1989 ist er Professor für Klavier und Neue Musik an der Folkwang-Hochschule Essen. |
