Yukiko Sugawara Born in Sapporo, Yukiko Sugawara had her first piano lessons with Michiko Endo and studied at the TOHO School of Music with Aiko Iguchi. Continuing her studies in germany, her teachers were Hans Erich Riebensam in Berlin and Aloys Kontarsky in Cologne, where she received her concert diploma. She was awarded the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis at Darmstadt. Since, she has continually been a welcome performer at all the major European festivals for New music. She is also a dedicated chamber musician performing in various formations such as Trio Accanto, her violin/piano-Duo with Asako Urushihara and the ensemble recherche. Countless new works have been written especially for her over the years. Geboren in Sapporo. Als sie ihr Studium in Deutschland fortsetzte, waren ihre Lehrer Hans Erich Riebensam in Berlin und Aloys Kontarsky in Köln, wo sie ihr Konzertdiplom erhielt. Sie wurde mit dem Kranichsteiner Musikpreis in Darmstadt ausgezeichnet. Seitdem ist sie regelmäßig zu Gast auf allen großen europäischen Festivals für Neue Musik. Sie ist auch begeisterte Kammermusikerin und tritt in verschiedenen Formationen auf, wie dem Trio Accanto, ihrem Violin-Klavier-Duo mit Asako Urushihara und dem ensemble recherche. Über die Jahre sind unzählige neue Werke für sie geschrieben worden. |
