Clement Power Clement Power (born 1980) studied at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music, obtaining the highest prize. He completed his studies at the Internationale Ensemble Modern Akademie. He was then selected by Kurt Masur to be the London Philharmonic Orchestra Junior Fellow in Conducting 2005-06. Subsequently he held the position of Assistant Conductor of Ensemble intercontemporain, Paris. With the Ensemble intercontemporain he recently conducted a tour to Mexico, concert in Festival de Vlaams-Brabant, concerts in Festival Agora at IRCAM, and the creation of a new opera by Hèctor Parra. In the past season, Clement has continued his close association with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He also made his debut appearances with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo, the Orchestre de Bretagne and the Philharmonia, London. Mit dem Ensemble intercontemporain war er gerade auf einer Mexiko-Tournee, dirigierte ein Konzert beim Festival de Vlaams-Brabant, sowie die UA von Hypermusic Prologue beim Festival Agora im IRCAM. In der letzten Saison vertiefte Clement Power seine enge Verbindung zu dem London Philharmonic Orchestra. Er debütierte zudem mit dem BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, dem NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo, dem Orchestre de Bretagne und der Londoner Philharmonie. |
