...it's hot, eight o'clock in the evening, i'm tired and thirsty. i've worked enough for today. i take a look at the television programme and the dj line-up for the night scene and decide to let the evening end in a bar. ispruce myself up, leave my apartment and head for the bar area. already from far away i hear the low bass of techno music. my steps quicken, i reach the bar and open the door. thick waves of smoke hit me in the face. it is dim,the glaring lights flicker to the rhythm of the music. i get myself a beer and let myself be dazed by the strong beat of the music and pulled on to the dance floor. a few hours and drinks later i leave the place elated. from far away i still hear the pulse of the music continuing and...

es ist heiss, acht uhr abends, ich bin müde und durstig. für heute habe ich genug gearbeitet. ich studiere das fernsehprogramm und das dj-line-up der nachtszene und entscheide mich den abend in einer bar ausklingen zu lassen. ich werf mich in schale, verlasse meine wohnung und geh in richtung der lokalmeile. schon von weitem höre ich die tiefen bässe von techno-musik. meine schritte werden schneller, ich erreich das lokal und öffne die tür.dicke rauchschwaden knallen mir ins gesicht. es ist düster, die grellen lichter flackern im rhythmus der musik. ich hol mir ein bier und lass mich von den starken beats der musik betäuben und auf das parkett ziehen. einige stunden und drinks später verlasse ich beschwingt den ort. noch aus weiter entfernung höre ich die musik weiterpulsieren und...
